During the pandemic, I began creating gourd birdhouses and was encouraged by family and friends to start selling them. This website was created with that in mind, and may yet evolve to include other art forms. I recently moved to Mariposa, California and find inspiration in my surroundings, which I share with quail families, tiger swallowtails and California sisters, alligator lizards, bluebirds, wild turkeys, acorn woodpeckers, countless varieties of lupine, and the steady rise and fall of cricket song each night. As an artist, I draw from memories of other places and from the tentative roots I'm beginning to anchor here in the Sierra foothills, down a dead end dirt road that I'm happy to call home.
